PFPK OH are chemically resistant side-channel centrifugal fans. The fans of this series are dedicated to all branches of industry where there is a chemically aggressive environment, high humidity and light dustiness with an aggressive medium. They are used in the following facilities: sewage treatment plants, industrial washing plants, chemical industry plants; mushroom farms, fertilizer storage facilities, food industry enterprises.
One of the most common causes of damage to fans operating in chemically aggressive environments is mechanical damage due to corrosion. PFPK OH fans use double anti-corrosion protection. All elements in contact with the pumped medium are made of acid-resistant steel with an additional powder coating of polyester. In addition, the surface of the rotor blade has been covered with a smooth anti-electrostatic coating, thanks to which contaminants settle on the rotor to a lesser extent.
PFPK OH series fans have a radial impeller with backward curved blades. The rotor blades and discs are made of acid-resistant steel and joined by welding (in light clean air fans, the blades are usually welded or pressed to the support disc). The PFPK OH fan impeller is distinguished by very good flow parameters with low noise emission (models with low-speed and medium-speed motors). PFPK OH fans are also available in a high-pressure version (high-speed motors), thanks to which they can work with local exhausts, e.g. as fans for fume cupboards or fans for extraction arms.
The housing of the PFPK OH fans was made on a rectangular frame that allows the fan to be rotated and the outlet to be mounted upwards, on the floor or horizontally. The fans are equipped with mounting frames on the stub pipes, thanks to which screw connections can be used to facilitate service and cleaning of the fan. In addition, it is possible to use additional accessories to ensure vibration compensation (on the system and to the ground), as well as to install a cleaning hole or an inspection hatch.
All PFPK OH fans are designed for continuous operation. They can pump air with a constant temperature up to 60 degrees Celsius. Fans can also be made for higher temperatures up to 220 degrees Celsius. The fans use energy-saving three-phase motors, adapted to very precise speed control with frequency converters. At the customer’s special request, it is also possible to use a single-phase motor (for models with a maximum power of 0.75kW).
